Fryeburg Fairgrounds in Fryeburg, Maine
Fryeburg Fairgrounds is the versatile, easily accessible home of the historic Fryeburg Fair held every autumn since 1851. This small, charming town is nestled beside the Saco River and, from certain vantage points, provides spectacular views of the Ossipee Mountains, Mt. Chocorua, and the eastern White Mountains. Evans Notch lies to the north and Pleasant Mountain to the east.
Grand moto-adventures await! New England riders welcome you with open arms and big smiles. It’s a foodie paradise with Vermont cheese, New Hampshire syrup and fresh fish and lobster from the coast. You can ride the Green Mountains to the White Mountains, then go to the coast—all in just one weekend!

Off-Site Accommodations
Off-site Tips
- Consider organizing a group to maximize accommodations space.
- The list of our lodging parters is not necessarily an exhaustive list of area lodging, so a good old-fashioned Google search may prove fruitful. Our partners have set aside space for our event, though.
- Consider checking outdoorsy.com for RV and motorhome rentals (there will be a fee for RV camping in addition to the camper rental price).
On-Site Camping
Free Primitive Tent Camping
Your rally ticket purchase includes three FREE nights of primitive tent camping! We only ask that you let us know the number of tents you’re bringing—while purchasing your ticket, also select the Free Tent Camping Pass optional product (you may also do this later by following instructions provided with your ticket).
We thank you for participating in this new sign-up process for free camping. As in previous years, we are NOT limiting the number of campers or tents! Having an approximate tent count will help us better prepare so that the rally experience is as smooth and problem-free as possible—for YOU.
You may come as early as 10am on Thursday, Aug 28 (approved volunteers may arrive a day earlier), and you should clear your campsite no later than noon on Sunday, Sept 1. We are sorry, but additional days or nights are not possible within the limitations of the venue contract.
CHARTER CLUBS: If you’d like to reserve an area for your charter, please email Drew Alexander at [email protected] or Jill Veverka at [email protected].
If you’re staying inside a tent with someone else, only ONE of you needs to sign up for free tent camping*—we just need to count the number of tents, not people. The size of your tent doesn’t matter. Sign-up link will be provided when you purchase your ticket.
*Note that each tent camper must buy a separate rally ticket.
- Free coffee at the Livestock Office, 6-9am Friday through Sunday.
- Covered and uncovered campsite options.
- Nearby buildings house bathrooms and showers.
- Device charging (phones, etc) is available nearby.
- Leashed pets permitted; clean up after them at all times, please.
- CPAP area available; just follow the signs when you arrive onsite.
- Complimentary wifi.
- No fires allowed.
- Do not place indoor or outdoor carpet on the grass.
RV Camping
Stay in your RV on the rally grounds in comfort at an economical cost! Amenities include RV hookups, electric power, and potable water at each campsite. Dump stations nearby. If needed, onsite buildings house bathrooms and showers. Maximum cost is $55 per night for 1 or 2 nights; after that, the longer you stay, the less you pay per night.
When you purchase your ticket, also select the RV Camping Pass optional product (you may also do this later by following instructions provided with your ticket). Just choose the number of nights you wish to stay between noon on Tues, Aug 27, and noon on Tues, Sept 3.
These extended stay options are a special benefit ONLY for those staying in the paid camping area. Arrive a couple days earlier or stay a couple days longer than the actual rally dates. It’s a holiday weekend—treat yourself with extra time before and after the rally to chill and decompress! If you choose less than 7 nights, we don’t need to know in advance which dates you’ll be there, but we do require that your dates be consecutive after you check in onsite.

Help Make the Rally Happen!
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the BMW Riders Association, and our annual rally would not be possible without their dedication and time. We need help with all sorts of tasks, from pre-event setup and attendee registration to medical support, gate security, and more. There’s something for everyone!
Public Health Guidelines
While COVID-era risks to participants is minimal as of this writing, your health and safety are still important to us! For our gathering, we will follow CDC public health safety guidelines as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws.
While riding a motorcycle is by its very nature an act of social distancing, traveling and gathering in groups will always increase the risk of exposure to viruses. Before you leave home, we encourage you to…
• Get your flu shot.
• Get up-to-date with your COVID vaccines and booster shots.
• Test regularly as the most effective way to detect COVID and isolate if you are infected.
• Review current CDC general and COVID-related guidelines for travel
Our goal, as always, is to have a fun AND safe rally. If you have any questions about the rally as it pertains to public health, please contact rally co-chairs Drew Alexander at [email protected] or Jill Veverka at [email protected].
We will update this tab as needed.
