So……Who’s planning on attending?
Hunter Mountain where the Color in the Catskills was (is) held.
Not much use for a ski area in summer…and they know how to deal with camping now.
The Yankee Beemers are standing by to assist in any way we can.
We’re right down the street………..:)
OH, and our big yearly rally “Damn Yankees Rally” is the following weekend, Aug 6,7 and 8………………So, go do the RA thing and finish off the week a few miles down the road in Northwestern, MA at our rally…………
It’s gonna be a great summer!
Yankee Beemers, President
January 17th is the cut-off date for tickets…………Looking forward to seeing a bunch of RA folks there!
I just went “low price spread”…….bought a set of Shinko 009 Raven ‘sport Touring” tires for my 04 R1150RSL……Rode the snot out of them in dry and wet at the BMW MOA rally last week. So far I’m VERY impressed…..They cost me $147 for both tires from BikeBandit…….
I had an 05 ST3 and I installed a signal minder. It did not have CanBus as far as I could tell. I also installed a Speed-o-Healer and a bunch other electronic stuff. Very conventional electrical system. Did they change it in later years?

A Google search should turn up some gems……….
A few years ago, before I bought a Garmin 2730 with included XM, I used a simple Pelican case with a black cover. I left it open unless it was raining and it was out of sight when the bike was parked.
