Two weeks, 7K miles I am so psyched. I should have it all planed out by Christmas. Let’s see, BunBurner 1500 Gold to Billings, MT ….

I did a Fashtek 4300K hid upgrade to both lows and the high on my 07 R1200RT. Put two ballasts behind the right speaker area and the other behind the left speaker area. I used 3M double sided mounting tape and zip ties … very secure. Very easy plug and play installation with NO CANbus issues. Spectacular lighting … better than expected!

I have an R1200RT and have an Escort Solo S2 run thru an Autocom and velcroed to a dash shelf … works well.

I don’t know of a waterproof CB. I have the Midland 75-822 which works very well with the proper antenna … Firestik FG2-648. I have it cliped to the side of my tankbag so when it rains i put the raincover on and slip my hand underneath to make adjustments.

Well … I was wrong … it will not be in the Ozarks for 2008. But, the ink is dry, and the site will be announced next week. Hint … East of the Mississippi River, North of the Mason/Dixon and in June … stay tuned for details ๐Ÿ™‚

Yep … just a little north … bet it will be a bit cooler than the Biltmore ๐Ÿ™‚ . I’ve toured the U.P. on bike and snowmobile and am very much looking forward to getting back up there. In fact, I have all ready decieded on my Rally route. Coming out of Cleveland I’ll go to Detroit and cross over into Canada then head up the east side of Lake Huron to Sault Sainte Marie. From there I’ll do a counterclockwise Lake Superior Circle Tour to the Rally. That will bump the direct route of 723 miles to around 1600 miles ๐Ÿ™‚
