My name is Christopher. I’m from Gardner, MA. If any members are in the area and want to ride contact me. If anyone needs roadside help do the same and I will do my best to extend any help I can.
Hi Chris, Welcome aboard. I see on the map you live up by AJ cycle. I try to get there at least once a year. Don’t know if your a Yankee Beemer or not, but I make a few of there meetings a year. I’m not a member , but I know a lot of them. A bunch of us OSBMWR’s will be going to the RA rally this year. Check our web site if interested, see below. See you around sometime. .:)

Hi Donald_Duck (nice ride)
How come your picture comes up with out having to click on anything. Am I uploading incorrectly?
Hi, thanks…
Let’s have a sample, our logo… It’s url address is
(right click the logo, and click the “properties” you’ll seee. Select and and copy the address.)
Then, put the address between “img” tags.
and you’ll see the logo
OR, easier method would be to use “Insert Image” icon on top of message window. 😎
See below screen shot.
Just click the “insert image” icon. A new small window shall be opened. Type or paste the address in that window.

You can’t post a picture like that without some explanation!
A few years ago on a club ride we stopped at this little general store / restaurant. The LT on the end had his bike on the center stand on not so level ground. We figure a gust of wind off of the lake caught his fully up shield and tipped it over hitting the bike next to him on down the line to mine at the other end, white RS, still standing. another rider with us happened to be coming from across the street where some of the other bikes were parked. luckly he went over there to get his camara.
Now see if you can find it here
HINT it’s on the left. :D
Nice, Mines on the right 7 bikes south east of the last tree where the guy is standing. You see it don’t you? the black RT.
I’ve been kicking around the idea of adding some of these lights to my RT.
Do you have any pics of the installation? Also, how did you power them?
I do not have a picture at this time. Next time I break the bike out I’ll take one. If this snow ever stops.
I got mine yesterday and tried to read it today. I got pages 11-18 twice as well as 35-44. I didn’t get pages 19-34 at all. I missed all of the Special Sections but one about the Early 6 Speed Transmissions as well as the Club Stuff.
Anyone get it all?
I did. You must of recieved a mis-printed OTL. I would contact the club. I’m sure they will send you another one. Good luck Roy
PS I am running for trustee. Don’t for got to vote.
Other areas to explore when in the UP is Bond Falls located near Paulding. Google it. It’s listed as one of the “best kept secret” spots on the Western Upper Peninsula.
Will they let me stay there if I wear my New England Super Bowl shirt?
I’m coming from Connecticut. Do you guys think it would be better to get to the U.P through the states, or over through Ontario… I’ve sepnt some time riding in Ontario – and it would be nice to hit those roads again. Anyone here have any experience with getting through the heart of America from the Northeast?
Hi ctyankee. When I went to the MOA Midland rally a few years ago, I went by way of Ontario. Never tried going through the states. I will be going by Ontario again, entering from Buffalo. Looking at a map it just seems to make more sence. Just my 2 cents. Later 🙂
I recently installed some motolights on my RT. They were very easy to install.
They work great at night and my friends that I ride with say the really stand out during the day. They are very well built with lifetime free bulb replacement.(Not sure if covered everwhere or just where purchased) A little pricy, but what I’ve spent on the Auto Zone (Cheap) sets, I could of purchased the motolights and saved my self a lot of labor.
Good Article. Big brother is alive and well. The city of Providence is starting to install camara’s, not to raise money but for Public Safety. Who would be against public safety. hopefully cases like this will help speed up the day when this is illegal everehere.
I have a ride to the MOA report in pdf format, but it is too large to download and it is not published on the web. So, here are a few photos of my trip to this years MOA rally via the Kansas and the Black Hills. It was my first MOA Northern United States Rally and probably my last.
I usually pefer the RA Rally’s myself, but I will still attend both if time and distance permit. Just my 2 cent worth. later 😎
