    Pelican Cases and others now offer a series of plastic boxes with clear covers and pressure sensitive covers so you can use “non waterproof” electronic units on motorcycles.

    A Google search should turn up some gems……….

    A few years ago, before I bought a Garmin 2730 with included XM, I used a simple Pelican case with a black cover. I left it open unless it was raining and it was out of sight when the bike was parked.
