This will be my first RA Rally and my wife will be joining me. I was wondering if there is a schedule available showing things going on from Thursday to Sunday. We are working on our trip plans and wondered what there is to do at the rally itself besides enjoying the regional attractions. Thanks.
I am planning on going to the rally and this will be my first rally. I was kind of wanting to know that same thing. Just trying to figure out what a rally is all about.
I noticed you are in Lexington. I am in louisville and plan on heading out either Wednesday or Thursday and was looking for others that are heading over from this area. Always nice to ride with a group.
Are you riding the GS or LT?
Barbie and I worked registration at the 2007 Rally and we did not have a clue until we got to the site. This forum is not very active at all. I am on day two of trying to get the site to accept my registration for us.
There will be five day rides set up and within two or three days all of the routes with turn-by-turn directions and the GPS files will be on the rally web site. The routes will be from about 100 to 275 miles in length and all will be totally off interstates and on paved roads. We also have two people setting up GS type off road rides. This year the Biltmore is allowing us to build a GS type riding area on the Biltmore grounds.
There will be seminars (but I don’t have a complete list yet). You will be able to tour the Biltmore home, grounds, winery and gardens. There will be a vintage bike area and I am talking with the vintage BMW car club about having some vintage cars there also.
There will be a beer garden and live music every evening.
See you at the rally
Any chance there will be sidecar training at the rally?

Do you have any more information on the seminar schedule?
Thanks for keeping us informed Kent. Good info.
