Not sure how to use the Forum so posting this in two sections. Hope that is OK.
In the years when the MOA had rallies in Vermont and Mass we asked local ride leaders to create maps of great riding roads. I’ve put those links here: http://www.raidersporttouring.com/RARally/ That page also includes upcoming rides by our group in October that may be of interest.
Pleae note that Susan Galpin was to lead two seminars at the Vermont Rally this year but now cannot attend for family reasons. Susan is happy to visit with folks passing through her area for one on one ride training sessions depending on her time and she does not charge for this and the Raiders have hosted her each year for the last three years for a seminar with on-road coaching. Spouses and significant others as a team have especially benefitted. So if you hoped to see her in Vermont but might be in Tennessee some time, contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org. As well if there is interest we will convene a weekend at one of our upcoming events that includes her so contact me if you’d want to be notified about that email@example.comJanuary 17, 2010 at 11:37 pm #59283JULIA SHIRLEYSpectator
There’s a great winery in Jacsonville, VT called the North River Winery that is a must to visit. They make the best Hard Cider!January 17, 2010 at 11:37 pm #61660skip0464Spectator
I can’t wait to visit DOT’s again, on the corner of rt 100 and rt 9 One of the Best Diners in the north east.January 17, 2010 at 11:37 pm #61661MARK FLANAGANSpectator
Love the Winery and Dots. Drop me a PM and I’ll meet you there when its warmer!January 17, 2010 at 11:37 pm #61662ANTON LARGIADERSpectator
I’ve been right through Wilmington and either we ate at Dot’s or it was so crowded we went to some nearby place. I bet it’ll be hard to get a seat for breakfast during the rally!
Another great place is (and I hope it’s still there) a Greek restaurant in the VT side of the river in one of the VT/NH border towns. IIRC it was in White River Junction, just across the bridge from Lebanon on US4, north side. It was an unlikely-looking place and the Greek menu wasn’t heavily promoted, but Greek turned out to be their specialty and it was excellent.January 17, 2010 at 11:37 pm #61668CURTIS NUGENTSpectator
