Mark your calendar for November 30th – December 2nd.

We have a FACEBOOK page http://www.facebook.com/groups/132973123425202/

Friday afternoon / evening we’re going to gather at Marlin Monroes for food and drink.
Please stop by and welcome the old and the new.
404 Butler Avenue, Tybee Island, GA 31328

The Boil will be Saturday, December 1st at 6 pm…or there abouts….
Like everything else, costs are up so the price for the Low Country Boil will be $25.00 per person.

If anyone is looking for a place to ride Saturday, I highly recommend Guyton, GA
Guyton is home to some very good BBQ.

While you’re there, visit with Duck at Vintage Motors http://vintagemotorsllc.com/
Duck specializes in Airhead work and restoration.

This year Doug Stoller was able to get us back indoors at the Tybee Gym
Fifth St. and Butler Ave., Tybee Island, GA, 31328
We’ll start gathering around 5 and hope to eat somewhere around 6…maybe 6:30.
With Chef Stoller, you can’t rush excellence.
For anyone that hasn’t eating a Low Country Boil, you are in for a treat.
Shrimp so fresh it was swimming in the ocean that morning.
Sausage / Corn / Potato(e)s / Justin Wilson’s favorite…Oooonioooon (hard to type in Cajun)
All cooked in large pots and then dumped in front of a very hungry crowd.
By about 9pm we shut down and head to some of the upscale beach bars….

We had a lot of requests for a different motel and also one closer to the boil.
Most of the motels are at the south end and the boil is towards the north end so that’s always been a hard request.
But this year, Rich Heritage was able to get us in the Desoto Beach Motel and the Royal Palm Motel.

We have about 23 rooms at the DESOTO BEACH MOTEL and about 22 at the ROYAL PALM MOTEL

212 Butler Avenue
Tybee Island, GA 31328
Reservations: 912-786-4542, Toll free – 877-786-4542

We have 16 Deluxe 2 Queen rooms, 2 Deluxe King, 1 Premier King at $60 per night.
We have 4 Premier Partial View rooms for $80 per night.
Small print for the Desoto:
Based on double occupancy, additional person is $10.00 per night
The is a two night minimum
Cancellation is 1 week before arrival date
Rooms are blocked until Tuesday, October 30th
Must refer to “BMW RIDERS” for discount
Only 1 parking spot per room
No smoking in any of the rooms
No pets
The Desoto rooms will go fast, if you want a room, make your reservation.

909 Butler Avenue
Tybee Island, GA 31328

We have about 20 – 22 rooms blocked off.
Room with 1 double bed is $49.99
Room with 2 double beds or 1 king is $59.99
10% discount if you mention BMW RIDERS

This year we have Breezy Riders running golf cart taxi’s so there’s no need to drink and drive or to miss the singing sensation Saturday night of Elvis Holland at the south end bars….
$3 per person, full cart for $10

Tybee is fortunate to have THE FAMOUS BREAKFAST CLUB http://breakfastclubtybee.com/
1500 Butler Avenue
Tybee Island, GA 31328
You owe it to yourself to eat there at least once.

Please make your reservations early. We don’t have the quantity of rooms available like at the Dunes, but we do have closer motels and I know the Desoto Beach is a lot nicer.
Let me know of any questions, problems or whatever.

Is Charles the guy who rode the Ducati last year?

It was a great time in Tybee. Next year we will likely move back to the old motel. It alllows for pets; Barbie missed her dog.
