Announcing the Seventh Annual Klassic K Kampout
Celebrating 30 years of K bikes in the US.
Come the heart of the Blue Ridge in western North Carolina and help us celebrate the Thirtieth Anniversary of the K bike in the United States. The rally was started as the only rally to honor the Klassic K BMW’s. This will be the Seventh Klassic K Kampout and we have had many riders enjoy the rally. The perfect place to start your journey to St. Paul!
The Sixth annual Klassic K Kampout will be held July 18-20, 2014 at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle campground, http://www.blueridgemotorcyclecamp.com/ N 35o 24.235 W 82o 48.682, in Cruso, NC. The campground is located 6 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 Miles off I 40.
This year you have a chance to attend the rally the week before MOA national. Come and enjoy the great riding around the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very close to “The Dragon”, Cherohala Skyway, Shady Valley and too many other great roads to list. The rally is also very close to the Wheels Through Time Museum.
This is a no charge Rally held at one of the best motorcycle campgrounds that you will find. There is no charge other than camping, food and supplies. This will be the annual meeting of the new Klassic K MOA Chartered club The Klassic K Riders #347! Don’t forget to sign up for door prizes!
For over thirty years the K bikes have been a reliable mainstay of the BMW motorcycle experience. There are examples with hundreds of thousands of miles on them.
Of course all motorcyclists are welcome. The Klassic K Riders have no affiliation with the campground; it’s just a great venue, with great food, in a great location. Cabin space is limited / tent space is plentiful. Contact BRMCCG for cabin reservations. 828-235-8350
This event was started by the KBMW Yahoo group, http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/kbmw/, which provides technical assistance for Klassic K owners.
