Hey everyone
I’m spreading word about my participation in Enduro Africa 2009, a fundraiser and organized 2000-km off-road motorcycle ride in October in Southern Africa that benefits UNICEF, Sentebale, TouchAfrica, and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund. This will be my very first experience with offroad adventure motorcycling and I can’t wait.
The 8-day ride will end with the donation of funds raised and our rugged motorcycles to local agencies providing HIV prevention, education, and care to Africa’s most vulnerable in remote communities.
I need recommendations for offroad riding schools in the mid-Atlantic region that will build on my 10 years of road experience to give me a decent foundation for spending 8 days in the mud and dirt. Please let me know if you have had any experiences worth sharing.
And please feel free to visit my [URL=”http://andrewsenduroafrica2009.blogspot.com/”%5Dblog%5B/URL%5D to learn more about the charities and the issues they address, to follow my progress raising funds and training, or to make a donation. Ultimately, I’ll post gps coordinates, maps, and live trip reports from South Africa and Lesotho.
Thanks for any training schools/clinics you can recommend.
