    I think the proposed changes to the by laws are a good idea and voted for them.

    However, I think there needs to be one small, tecnical change.  In Article V Elections, Section 1 Commencement of the Election Cycle is the sentence:

    “Electiion procedures will also be published in the July/August issue of the Association….”

    IMHO, it’s a mistake to call out the name of the issue as July/August.  Suppose that some time in the future OTL was to change its publication schedule?  The sentence should read something like “… will also be published in the issue of OTL in advance of the election…”  or something like that.

    Obviously, we can’t change it now.  But it should be bookmarked for the next change we have of the bylaws.

    Thank you for your input, oldAndSlow. Participation is very important the the Riders Association. This is everyones club.

    As you said, it’s too late to change it now, but should be looked at if any change occurs in the future.

    I don’t know that you should have a handle like old and slow. You seem pretty sharp to me. Good suggestion. Thanks.
