What Facilities are available for the onsite camping? Showers? Water? etc…
There are acres of grass camping, much of it with shade if you get there early. We’ll have a shower trailer brought in, plus there are four showers on-site (2 men, 2 women). Lots of bathrooms with sinks for brushing your teeth and shaving, plus we’ll have a number of Port-A-Potties for the quick #1 and #2 stops. There is also going to be food on site, plus the Beer Garden. There is a large grocery and general retail store across the street (Fred Mayers), and a Walmart about a mile the other direction.
You can “get there early” one of two ways: show up when registration opens at 8:00am Thursday morning, OR sign up as a pre-rally volunteer to help with setup. Those wonderful folks will be allowed on site starting July 4th. Since we can always use extra hands for setup (placing signs, Security, etc.) we are encouraging folks to go to [URL=”http://www.bmwra.org/rally/volunteer.html”%5Dwww.bmwra.org/rally/volunteer.html%5B/URL%5D and sign up. 😀
