The last I heard, Bruce Seely was at Michigan Tech. He’s that expert on the history of the interstate highway system,– sort of an industrial archeology type. Has he been invited to the rally?

Bruce is still at Michigan Tech. He is currently the Department Chair of the Social Sciences Department.

I heard him talk once. He was here (Mississippi State) to talk about the history of technology. I won’t go there (re: technology), because that’s not my area. However, for a more general audience (like me), he talked about the history of the interstate highway system. He was pretty interesting.

I did send Bruce an E-mail to see if he might be interested in giving a talk, but have not got a reply..he may be out of the area now that school is out.
