Join your fellow riders on a week-long adventure ride through some of the best trails in the country.

It all starts as Memorial Day weekend ends, with riders meeting up in a variety of great locations across the southeast for a 2-day GS Gypsy Tour ride to the rally at Barber Motorsports Park.

GS Gypsy Tours meet up on Monday, May 26 and arrive at the Rally on Wedneday, May 28.

At the park, there will be not one but two premium riding areas onsite, featuring challenges for all levels of riding skill. This is an excellent opportunity to practice, learn and improve your off-road abilities!

Add to that a women-only riding event, a choice of easy and hard day rides, and of course an adventure track competition.

    Much more information coming soon!

Here’s a great ride from Two Wheels of Suches in the North Georgia mountains, all the way to the rally at Barber Motorsports. At 390 miles, this is the very back way. The good news is you can ride all or parts of it.

    I’m IN!

This year, the Barber Motorsports Park offers a number of excellent opportunities for women-only riding activities.

We will have two great areas for practice riding, and we are working on a local day ride.

How much interest is there in women-only events?

What if you registered for the rally and didn’t click the Adventure RAid button, but you still want to do the Adventure RAid?

You might want to send a pm to visian. There’s a button below his name.

One of the things we’ll be doing in the event is riding a large loop of 2-track trail that Barber Motorsports uses to show off the Porsche Cayenne.

There are also ample opportunities to detour off this two-track for some special tests….

We’ll lay out the course so that you have to manage your speed, like an enduro. We’ll keep it simple so that you can use your watch, phone, or GPS.

Not sure how long this will go, but we do want to tucker you out a bit.

Anyone here interested in helping me plan this and do scorekeeping during the ride?

Here’s a preview of the Event Plan, GPS routes will be uploaded within the next day.

There is a Florida Gypsy tour meeting in Jacksonville at the Corner of Chaffee road and US 90 at the Kangaroo station at 0600 on Tuesday. We are heading west through north Florida south Georgia until we pick up the tracks Visian posted awhile back. I know we are planning on picking up a rider in Chattahoochee hopefully somewhere around noon. As of now, we are looking at camping at Karick SP, but we are staying very flexible in case we get there too soon or it takes too long. Day two we are tentatively planning on making it to Roland Cooper SP in Alabama. Day three is onto the rally. If anyone is planning on joining us please let us know and we will work something out.

Great to hear that you’re coming, Guns and posse!

Please capture a track of your ride… it would be great to see where you wind up going.
