Come join us for the COKBMWRR’s “first annual” campout
Come join us for the COKBMWRR’s “first annual” campout in two years at Talimena State Park. The park is located 7 miles north of the town of Talihina. It is a great place for both RVs and tent campers, and there is some very good riding for both on and off-road riders. There may be a parking fee; however, it is included in your camping fee. If you are camping, the meadow by the pavilion should be free and available. However, please check in at the park office when you arrive to make sure. If you need more room or hookups, reserve a spot from the state’s online system (travelok.com). As in the past, we will be going to the Queen Wilhelmina SP & Lodge restaurant on the Talimena Scenic Byway for a Saturday lunch. At the campground, we will have coffee in the mornings. There are several hotels and restaurants in the area if needed. Otherwise, it would be advisable to be ready to provide your own meals.
If you do make it to this campout, check out the Robbers Cave SP on OK Hwy 2; you’ll love that twisty road.
October 1 (Saturday) - 3 (Monday)
Talimena is located in the southeastern part of Oklahoma on US Hwy 271, just north of Talihina, OK.
