Wine Tour

The local north and west of Boise is fast becoming a noted region for wineries. Rally goers are invited to partake of the magic of this region on a Wine Tour, Thursday of rally week.

All Wine Tour participants are invited to park your motorcycles and let someone else do the driving. Participants will board buses at the Western Idaho Fairgrounds at 10:30am and travel a scenic route to the first stop on the tour, Ste. Chappelle Winery in Caldwell. At Ste. Chappelle you’ll take a tour of this world-class winery and sample some of its hallmark wines.

Then it’s back on the bus to The Winery at Eagle Knoll in Eagle. You will be treated to a buffet lunch of:

  • Teriyaki Chicken Fettuccini
  • Greek Penne
  • House Salad
  • Caesar Salad
  • Toasted Garlic Bread
  • Lemonade, Iced Tea and Soda
  • Assortment of Dessert Bars

You will tour the facility, spend some time at the Tasting Bar, stroll the grounds, be entertained by Steve Eaton (www.SteveEaton.net) and receive a souvenir of your day. Noted red wines include: Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Pinot Pinot. White wines include: Riesling, Pearl Fume Blanc, Beacon Light Blush, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, and Muscat Canelli.

The bus will return you to the fairgrounds.

Cost is $38 per person and pre-registration is required. Seating is limited and registration for the Wine Tour ends on June 23, 2006.

Note: For insurance purposes you must ride on the bus to participate on this tour! Good food, good wine and good friends!
