RA members — make a splash in Idaho

Plan to join us for a special half day whitewater raft trip on the scenic Payette River just 40 minutes north of Boise. Cascade Raft and Kayak Company has coordinated a special BMW RA rafting package that includes a two and a half hour raft trip, lunch and fantastic memories. Young children are welcome on the trip.

You will be contacted by a representative from Cascade Raft. Limited to 50 participants.

Rapids you will encounter include GLOYF (Go Left or Your Fired), Bennett’s Rock, Mike’s Hole, Mixmaster and AMF. These rapids are rated class III – big playful waves, but little maneuvering required. Expect to get wet! The relatively warm water of the Main Payette provides a welcome break from the summer heat. Between rapids there are opportunities to swim, splash or just relax on the raft.

Riders will meet at Expo Idaho at 11:00am for a group ride to Horseshoe Bend and Cascade Raft River Center. Here you will be greeted by Cascade Raft staff and given a short safety briefing. After changing in to bathing suits or water attire, enjoy a rafters’ picnic lunch on the patio overlooking the river. You will then head to the put–in location in a Cascade Raft bus for a 1:30p.m. start time. Your trip ends at the Cascade Raft River Center take-out. Here you may change clothes, buy refreshments at the snack bar and view and purchase photos from your trip. BMW RA members will receive discounted photo pricing.
