Chills & Thrills
The Boise Police Department Motorcycle Unit will be presenting their Chills & Thrills riding class on Saturday afternoon, July 8th.
Police motor officers must be highly proficient riders capable of performing complex maneuvers on their bikes in the line of duty. These skills go well beyond the capabilities of the average rider. The purpose of Chills & Thrills is for you to have a chance to ride a modified version of the type of training and competition courses required of motor officers. The BPD, along with most city, county, and state policy motor units in Idaho ride BMW’s, so they will be familiar with the handling characteristics of your bike.
Check your rally schedule for exact times. There is a limit of about 50 riders, so be there early to sign up at the time with the Boise Motor Officers. It’s challenging, but a lot of fun and a chance to sharpen your skills beyond the Experienced Rider Course!
