Wow. I used to really follow fuel cell stuff about six or seven years ago, but not recently. I have a bunch of email saved from when I was going to do one on my K75RT.

You might want to get on the LDRider list, because you'll probably find people who have actually done it on that bike.

Mostly, though, the details are the same. Find a cell which fits the space available, and then use a pump to transfer the contents to your main tank. Vent the main tank to the cell so you don't pump vapors out. Your bike doesn't have a fuel return line, which is where most people add the fuel from the cell, so you'll need to add a fitting to the tank. Sounds daunting but it's straightforward.

This would make a great tech article. Let me know how you progress on it, and keep asking questions here. I'll look at a couple of diagrams for ideas.

A little bit of capitalization and punctuation might help. Not trying to be a wise guy; if you want the other person to care you have to convince him that you do.

Fuel Cell

Dear intime,
You might want to try an outfit by the name of
BLM Accessories. The link is http://www.blm-accessories.com/. Also, you can find installation help for your fuel cell here http://www.r1200gs.info/howto/auxcell.html. Good luck.

Fuel Cell Source

You might also try Summit Racing (http://www.summitracing.com/search/?keyword=fuel%20cell&dds=1) as a source. They have a long list of fuel cells, one of which might fit. A friend of mine found one there for his 1000GS and the last time I looked, he had 260,000 miles on the clock. Most of that mileage included the fuel cell, so it's been pretty durable.
