Best Windshield for the R1200GSW

I'm about to get a new R1200GS Wasserboxer (yeah!) and I'll want to put a different windshield on as I'm height challenged and know

the stock windshield won't cut it for me. Who else has done this and what is their recommendation?

Height challenged as in short?  I haven't seen much mention of after market short windshields.  Your best bet may be some masking tape and a band saw.  Or even a dremel tool with a cutting disk.  It's easy to cut a windshield down.   Doing it yourself also means you can take your time and cut a little bit at a time.

These are great windshields: CalSci

If you give them a call, they will most likely cut a "medium" size down to your specs.

It is very difficult to go wrong with Cee Bailey's offerings.  Don't just order online.  Call them first and explain what you need.  They can give you the best advice and have solid customer service.

I'll be the voice of dissent here. My vote would be for you to ride with the stock screen for a while, in a variety of conditions - rain, highway, etc., and see how you like it before you throw money at another screen.

Probably the best advice, but I think the OP probably has ridden a GSW as she works at a BMW dealer, no? It didn't take long to figure out the stock screen didn't work for me, although I have the opposite problem. I got a calsci, but my only complaint is the fit and finish. The edges aren't polished/seamed like a Cee Bailey, which looks a lot nicer, but the function is good or may be too good. it was great in Iowa, but in AZ, I could use a little more airflow in the summer, whereas the Calsci was great for Iowa winters. YMMV.

What size CalSci do you have Ponch? Mine is way below my field of view, so plenty of air flow. I have the "medium" size BTW.

I have the Calsci XL. Now they have an XLW.

Actually what I did was put the stock GS Adventure screen on and I've been trying that first. Right now, I'm just getting buffeting on my arms but can speak really clearly through my bluetooth headset without wind noise.

I am a tallish rider and thats what I did, I enjoyed the stock screen and really didn't have a buffeting issue but the  taller/wider ADV screen sure adds to wind protection and noise reduction.  I was able to pick one up cheap from a rider that sw the stock ADV screen for yet a larger one...
