Advanced Rider Classes At the Rally

Total Rider Tech will be conducting the Advanced Riding Clinic Level 1 at the 2011 BMW Firecracker RA International Rally in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Cornering technique is the primary focus of the clinic curriculum which was created by world renowned motorcycle journalist and race champion, Lee Parks, based on his book Total Control. To maximize your learning, and riding time, the normally one day course will be split into two morning sessions, Thursday, June 30th and Friday, July 1st. No matter what style of motorcycle ridden, the clinic promises to make a specific, measurable improvement in an individual’s cornering skills, throttle control, throttle/brake transitions, corner entry, line selection, body position and corner exit. Dynamic classroom sessions cover the mental aspects of the techniques with the majority of the time being applied toward practicing these unique techniques during the range exercises. Total Rider Tech provides complete rider training for the intermediate rider to highly experienced motorcyclist throughout the country. To learn more about Total Rider Tech, go to The link is also on the drop down menu of the 2011 Rally on the RA website.

I'm in! And really jazzed about the class having read Lee's book and looked at their website. The class seems like the perfect thing to cover skills that aren't taught in MSF ERC courses or ones like Rego's CLASS ( tho I got a ton from Reg's class)
