rally music

Thanks for putting on a great rally, minus the music Friday night. What the hell was that? Russian folk music?! Thank heavens for Saturday nights band, they hit the nail on the hammer. People having a great time, even up dancing, not bopping up and down for some weirdos...I was waiting to hear some Fiddler on the roof music with those dudes. Anyway, everything else was just fine, had a great time out by the firepit Friday night instead. Thanks for all your hard work.

I couldn't agree with you more.

Friday's band was the worst I've ever heard at a rally, Saturday's was one of the best.

I listened to their CD this morning and was pleasantly surprised that they were just as good as I remember.

They are called Brother Short.

Wasn't just me

Well, I guess my ears weren't the only ones offended by Slim Cessna. My wife was also greatly disappointed with the volume and the fact that she (nor apparently anyone else) could dance to that "music?".

Brother Short

I should have said in my other post how GREAT Brother Short is. Anyone (in the states surrounding WV) who is looking for entertainment should consider them. I also enjoyed listening to their CD today.

Call me crazy

Tongue I thought they weren't too bad. I left early Saturday so I unfortunatley missed that band. I will check them out. THanks for the info.

I know how hard it is to find rally bands. No ban will please everyone. Having said that, I really did not care for the Friday band at all.

On the other hand, I LOVED almost everything else about the rally. Thanks to all who made it possible.
